Short answer

Quality inspection for an appliance ODM order has two layers: end-of-line functional testing on every unit, and third-party compliance testing per destination market. Youwang performs the first layer in-house on 4 assembly lines with 50+ test instruments, and coordinates the second — CE, FCC, RoHS, CCC, PSE and UKCA test documentation exists for its product families and is available for review during supplier qualification.

When this process applies

This capability covers incoming material checks, in-line functional testing, batch sampling and compliance-file coordination for our four product families. We are not a certification body; all formal testing is performed by accredited laboratories.

Where it is the right choice

  • Verification of functional and electrical performance per unit
  • Compliance coordination for US, EU, UK and Japan destinations
  • Battery transport documentation per pack configuration
  • Supplier qualification audits and pre-shipment inspection support

Where it is the wrong choice

Stating this explicitly matters more than a capability list: if your part falls into one of these categories, another process will cost you less.

  • Issuing certificates — accredited laboratories do that, we coordinate and archive
  • Guaranteeing approval outcomes; we submit accurate samples and files, and we flag risks early
  • Third-party inspection services for other factories' products

Equipment

  • 50+ in-line test instruments across 4 assembly lines
  • 5 AOI, 3 SPI and 1 X-ray system on the SMT side
  • Ageing racks and drop-test fixtures for batch sampling
  • Documented archive of compliance and transport files per model

Process questions

Can I see the test reports before ordering?

Yes. Compliance and transport documentation for the product families is available for review during supplier qualification. We would rather you read the files before the deposit than argue about them after it.

Do you hold the certificates yourselves?

Documentation status differs by product family, and we state the exact status per model in writing — including where unit-level testing for a specific market has not yet been completed and would be arranged before shipment. Ask for the per-model summary and you will get a straight answer.

What happens if a shipment fails our incoming inspection?

Every unit carries line-test records, so a disputed batch is traceable to its test data. Replacement or rework terms are fixed in the sales contract before the first order, not negotiated after a problem.
