Surface-mount technology (SMT) assembly places electronic components onto printed circuit boards at high speed before reflow soldering. Youwang operates 8 SMT lines with 7 Yamaha YSM20R high-speed placers and a Siemens HS60 line, handling 0201 components and BGA packages, with 5 AOI machines, 3 SPI solder-paste inspectors and 1 X-ray machine verifying every batch.
When this process applies
This capability covers the main control boards, WiFi/BLE radio boards, charger PCAs and sensor boards used in our appliance platforms. Boards are designed for our products; we do not offer contract SMT for external board designs.

Process questions
Why does in-house SMT matter for an appliance ODM order?
Because the main board is where cost and quality leaks hide. When PCBA is outsourced, the appliance maker cannot trace a field failure to a solder joint or a component lot. With 8 lines in-house, we control placement quality (AOI/SPI/X-ray), component sourcing and change notices on the same timeline as the housing and assembly line.
Can you handle 0201 components and BGA packages?
Yes. The Yamaha YSM20R lines and the Siemens HS60 line are specified for 0201 passives and BGA packages. BGA joints are verified on the X-ray machine because optical inspection cannot see beneath the package.
Do you sell bare PCBAs?
No. Boards are built for our platforms. If your product needs a custom board, that is a different business model and we will tell you plainly rather than quote it.
